Gone but not forgotten
It has been forty days since the passing of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimur on the 11th of January. Though he is gone, his memory lives on in people’s hearts, and his legacy stands proudly as an example of a just and wise rule. May he rest in peace.
Though we must move forward and embrace our future, it will serve us all to remember our past – to remember the great deeds of the man regarded as the ‘father of the nation’. May his life serve as a guide to all of us.
