Amouage Unveils Love Hibiscus, Inspired by Oman’s Iconic Flower

16 March 2026

The fragrance pairs vibrant hibiscus with salted caramel and rich woods for a distinctive olfactory experience.

Omani High Perfumery House Amouage has unveiled Love Hibiscus, the newest fragrance in its Secret Garden collection, offering a vibrant expression of contemporary femininity inspired by the natural beauty of Oman.

The Secret Garden collection, first introduced in 2016, explores creative interpretations of modern femininity by pairing floral notes with gourmand elements. The newly launched Love Hibiscus continues this concept, combining the vivid character of hibiscus with indulgent contrasts to create a bold and distinctive scent.

Amouage’s Chief Creative Officer Renaud Salmon explained that the inspiration for the fragrance came from the hibiscus flower commonly found across Oman. Known for its striking petals and delicate aroma, hibiscus introduces a tart, slightly earthy and berry-like character to the fragrance composition.

To create contrast, perfumer Jérome Epinette incorporated a gourmand element inspired by palmiers — a caramelised pastry — resulting in a rich salted caramel accord that complements the floral heart of the fragrance.

Love Hibiscus opens with notes of salted caramel, passion fruit and bergamot, followed by a heart of hibiscus, orris and frankincense, and settles into a base of sandalwood, cypriol and vanilla. The scent is presented as a 20% eau de parfum.

The fragrance is housed in a striking hibiscus-red bottle from the reimagined Secret Garden flacon design introduced in 2024, featuring a tactile ceramic finish inspired by natural textures.

Love Hibiscus will be available in Amouage boutiques in Oman, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and South Korea from April 1, 2026, with global distribution to follow later in April.
