Bank Muscat expanded e-payment options by adding QR-code-based payments, that will allow retail outlets to accept digital payments from the Mobile Banking app or Wallet of any bank in Oman.
The bank added that this new method of payment, can easily be implemented by businesses across the country, including the small ones.
In terms of digital payments, Bank Muscat already offers Debit, Prepaid and Credit Cards, wearables, Mobile wallets, and the Mobile Banking app, and an official from the Digital Banking sector of Bank Muscat said that the company is making a rapid shift to digital payments, that will allow its customers to use the e-payment option that is most convenient to them.
