Beyoncé Slays in a Dress Designed by a Omani Designer

We’ve all seen the headlines about Beyonce’s performance in Atlantis Dubai last night; it was her first live performance in 4 years, and so everyone was ecstatic about it… understandably. The thing that further added to the excitement was that she performed some unreleased tracks for the first time.

But what did not make the headlines is the factor that we the Omani citizens and residents believe was the most significant part to us about the whole performance. We’re excited about the fact that Queen B was wearing a breathtaking dress while performing. And that dress, ladies and gentlemen, is designed by one of our own, a Omani designer!

The name is Atelier Zuhra, a brand that was founded in 2015 by Mouza Al Awfi. Mouza’s daughter Rayan Al Sulaimani took over the business few years later making the brand gain regional and international recognition, and also making it Beyonce’s go-to when she needs a dress for her performance after a 4 year break!
