‘Blinding Lights’ Just Became 1st Song in History To Spend An Entire Year In The Hot 100’s Top 10

I mean we did know how amazing The Weeknd’s Blinding Lights is but the fact that its been in Billboard’s Hot 100 top 10 for a whole year is mind blowing but also expected out of The Weeknd.

Over the past few months, Blinding Lights held the record for the most weeks on the Hot 100’s top 10, and with every additional week, the Weeknd was only furthering his lead and rewriting the history books over and over again. The runner up to this record is Post Malones Circles which was in the top 10 for 39 weeks in contrast to Blinding Lights current record of 52 weeks.

Since it’s still going strong at No. 3 on the chart, the hit will probably continue to top the chart for weeks to come. There’s no telling how much longer it will hold on, and at this point it won’t matter; there’s no statement bigger than what the song has achieved today.
