Breaking: Supreme Committee Announces 8 PM Curfew

The curfew will begin tomorrow.

The Supreme Committee has announced a movement ban on individuals and vehicles and the closure of all public places and commercial activities (while allowing home delivery) from 8 PM to 4 AM, starting from Sunday evening (June 20, 2021) until further notice, with the exception of the activities and categories that were announced during previous curfews.

The Supreme Committee also confirms that all health sector institutions, especially the Ministry of Health, are continuing to implement the national plan for immunization against Covid-19 according to the specific stages and target groups, and it calls on all those targeted to take the initiative to immunize to protect themselves, members of their families and their community from contracting this disease.

While the committee commends the commitment shown by members of society and various institutions to the precautionary controls that have been adopted to avoid infection and spread of this disease, it expresses its disapproval at the fact that some people continue to hold gatherings for various occasions, in violation of the approved regulations, and confirms that the concerned authorities continue to take the approved measures in this regard.
