Burno Mars and Mark Ronson settle 1 of 3 'Uptown Funk' lawsuits
Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson are in a with the funk band ‘Collage’ over the song “Young Girls” that was released in 1983.
In 2016 ‘Collage’ sued the duo for copyright infringement. The band said that ‘Uptown Funk’ released in 2015, is “obvious, strikingly and or/substantially similar copy” to their song ‘Young Girls’.
Both sides have agreed to drop the case permanently and there has been no word on whether there was a financial settlement or not.
