Travellers arriving to Oman need to book for institutional isolation through a given link.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) just announced that all arrivals into Oman starting at 2 PM on Monday, the 29th of March should book hotel accommodation and institutional isolation via the Sahala platform.
They explained the following:
- All arrivals into the Sultanate starting from 2 PM on Monday, 29th March 2021, shall book accommodation in hotels and institutional isolation via Sahala platform on https://covid19.emushrif.om/
Exemptions to categories mentioned above in the above two previous circulars are still applicable. (Diplomats, arrivals aged 18 or less and are traveling alone, or aged 60+, aircrew, sick passengers that require special attention, permit holders for pre-approved private institutional isolation center, and sea crew.) - Airlines are responsible for ensuring that the passenger is holding a confirmed booking via the Sahala platform.
- All other requirements as stipulated in previous circulars remain valid.
