Doja Cat, Nicki Minaj, Beyoncé & Megan Thee Stallion have made US chart history after reigning at the top of the Billboard Hot 100. Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj have landed their first No. 1 with Say So (Remix). 4 different records have been broken here:
- Doja and Nicki’s collaboration marks the first time that a collab between two female rappers has reached No. 1.
- Nicki Minaj now holds the record for longest wait for a No. 1 with Say So (Remix) being her 109th song on the charts.
- While Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj have the No. 1 song on the chart and with Megan Thee Stallion and Beyonce-assisted Savage (Remix) coming in 2nd place, it was a historic week as it was the first time that four Black female artists reigned over the top 2 spots.
- With the Savage (Remix), Beyoncé has also now secured Top 10 hits in four different decades (’90s, ’00s, ’10s and ’20s), becoming the only woman to have achieved the after Mariah Carey.
