Drake’s new dance challenge “Toosie Slide” has been trending worldwide, and a group of African kids nailed the challenge and went viral for it.
The Masaka Kids, comprised of orphans from Uganda who always have amazing moves, posted their tootsie challenge on Friday. The video instantly began gaining TikTok, Twitter and IG views. Drake then noticed the video from the tags he was getting, so he reached out to them to ask if he could repost the video. The video went viral the next day after Drake shared it on his Instagram Story.
Suuna Hassan, organization founder, said that he and the children cried tears of joy because of Drake’s gesture and spent the next day celebrating and dancing.
The Masaka Kids Africana account have gained more than 120,000 Instagram followers since then and the organization has also received hundreds of dollars in donations. Watch the toosie slide challenge in the link below.
