HM Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Attends HM Queen Elizabeth Funeral

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidy, arrived at Buckingham Palace earlier today, to offer their condolences on the death of Queen Elizabeth, and to congratulate King Charles on his accession to the throne.

His Majesty the Sultan is also attending the funeral service for the late Queen Elizabeth II, which is being held in Westminster Abbey.

Over 500 other heads of state and foreign dignitaries are also in attendance, making this one of the largest gatherings of world leaders to take place in decades.

Other leaders attending include US President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Japanese Emperor Nuharito.
