HM the Sultan and Honourable Lady Back in Oman After Visiting UAE to Offer Condolences

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik arrived in the Sultanate after his trip to the United Arab Emirates, which he took to offer his condolences on the death of the late UAE President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan.

Her Highness the Honorable Lady, Assayida Ahd bint Abdullah bin Hamad al Busaidi, Spouse of the Sultan of Oman, also visited the UAE, to offer her condolences.

Earlier in the day, His Majesty the Sultan sent a cable of congratulations to the newly-elected President of the UAE, and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan, and he prayed to Allah to grant Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed success in leading the Emirati people towards further progress and prosperity.
