Jake Gyllenhaal is in talks to play the main villain Mysterio in the new Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel.
In the comic books, Mysterio is the alter ego of Quentin Beck, a Hollywood stuntman and FX wizard who dreams of becoming a big film star.
Tom Holland will resume his role as Peter Parker (Spider Man). The release is set for July 5 2019.
