Justin Bieber, J Balvin and More Perform at “Global Goal: Unite for Our Future” Concert

29 June 2020

Many of today's biggest artists came together for a good cause.

Many musicians and actors performed at Global Citizen’s “Global Goal: Unite for Our Future” concert over the weekend, with an aim to help raise funds to develop and deliver COVID-19 vaccines and treatments. The concert obviously took place remotely, just like all concerts that have been held recently (well at least we hope so).

Jennifer Hudson chose the perfect location to beautifully open the show by singing “Where Peaceful Waters Flow” from the deck of a boat floating down a river. Miley Cyrus also performed a Beatles classic “Help!”, and dedicated her set to “those who are tirelessly working on testing, treatment and vaccines so all of us can come together in places like this empty stadium again.”

Some of the biggest artists that charmed us by their performances include Shakira, Coldplay, Justin Bieber and Quavo, Usher, Miley Cyrus, J Balvin, Yemi Alade and Christine and the Queens.

Thats not it! Appearances were made by other celebs who contributed to the event one way or another; Billy Porter, Chris Rock, Salma Hayek, Charlize Theron, Kerry Washington and David Beckham.
