16 January 2023

The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MHT) announced several new projects that will be launched soon, including an online system, which will allow adventure tourism operators to apply for a licence for organizing trips, as well as the zipline project in Musandam, which will be done in collaboration with Omran and the Office of the Governor of Musandam.

The ministry also floated a tender for the supply and installation of sign boards for mountain trekking paths, and it said that it is using New Zealand as a model for adventure tourism activity, seeing as the country is considered to have one of the best adventure tourism models in the world.
