The Ministry of Health (MoH) called on schools to follow the ministry guidelines in dealing with the seasonal flu.
This warning comes as the number of influenza cases continue to rise worldwide. Reports showed that 3-4 children are absent per day due to flu-like symptoms, which include fever, sneezing and runny nose.
The ministry also called on people to get vaccinated against the seasonal influenza, by either heading to health centers or private health institutions.
