The Ministry of Health announced that it will start administering the seasonal influenza vaccine to citizens and residents.
Those who are eligible for the shot include:
- Those who are suffering from chronic diseases
- Those who are aged 65 and above
- Those who are planning to travel to Saudi Arabia for Umrah.
Those who were not mentioned in the aforementioned target groups will still be able to get their shots, but only at private health clinics.
The ministry also announced that the COVID-19 vaccine will be available for free in the following public and private sector health institutions:
- Badr Al Samaa Hospitals
- Bombai Medical & Diagnostic Center
- Ruwi Medical Care Center
- Al-Seeb Souq Sagar Polyclinic
- Al-Khuwair Al Muzn
- Oasis Medical Center Al Azaiba South
