The announcement was made after the Supreme Committee held its weekly meeting today.
Oman’s Supreme Committee in charge of dealing with COVID-19 have announced that the health isolation of Muscat Governorate will be lifted on Friday (May 29th). This means that people can enter and leave Muscat Governorate.
They have also announced that the previously announced directives that excuse government sector employees from going to offices will also be lifted. They added that at least 50% of public sector employees should return to their offices in every authority, starting from Sunday (May 31st).
This however does not include Wilayat Muscat as it will remain in sanitary isolation until further notice.
