Oman Climate Week 2026: Where Global Climate Leaders Will Meet

18 November 2025

Oman just announced its biggest environmental event of 2026.

Mark your calendars! Oman is gearing up to host Oman Climate Week 2026 — a major regional environmental event taking place from September 14–16, 2026, at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Hosted by the Environment Authority under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Abdullah bin Ali Al Amri, this second edition is all about bringing the world’s top minds and innovators together to tackle climate issues, spark new ideas, and push serious sustainability action.

Why This Matters:
Oman Climate Week is more than just another conference — it’s a national platform for innovation and a chance for Oman to lead the climate conversation across the region, all in line with Oman Vision 2040 and the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030.

What’s New This Year:

  • GreenX Exhibition — a first-of-its-kind green tech and sustainability showcase for big business + SMEs + eco-startups.
  • 200+ global speakers and experts tackling everything from clean energy to circular economy models.
  • 50+ sessions, workshops, youth platforms, and panels – with a spotlight on women leaders in environment and climate.
  • Field trips to Omani environmental projects & guided cultural tours showing off the Sultanate’s natural beauty.

Big Themes:

  • Innovation, sustainability, climate solutions, clean energy transition, green economy, nature-based solutions — and building a more sustainable future powered by global collaboration.
  • The event is organized by the Environment Authority in collaboration with Arabian Research Bureau (ARB) and a wide network of international partners and institutions.
  • Whether you’re an expert, student, environmental enthusiast, or someone who just wants to know what the world is doing about climate change — Oman Climate Week 2026 is where the action will be.
