Oman is operating an air bridge to transport relief and medical materials to areas in Turkey and Syria that are affected by Monday’s earthquake, under orders from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.

Rescue teams from the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) were also sent to southern Turkey to help in search and rescue efforts, and they are being transported to the affected areas today via the Royal Air Force of Oman.

The Turkish Embassy in Muscat will also be transporting aid via Turkish Airlines, and it will be accepting donations at the embassy, which is located in Shatti Al Qurum.
