Tragic Vehicle Accident Claims Life of One Person and Injures Five Others on the Way to Salalah

One person died, and five others were wounded, in a traffic accident that took place on the Adam-Thumrait road, leading to Dhofar.
The ROP said that a tire from the victims’ vehicle had burst, and it added that the Police Aviation transferred the injured passengers to a hospital in Nizwa.
The ROP reminded the public that those heading to Salalah need to abide by traffic laws and speed limits, adding that they should also be alert for stray animals or sands that may have accumulated on the roads.
Police officials also said that travelers can request help at the checkpoints or from patrol teams, adding that they can also call the emergency phone at 9999.
