It was a standout moment at TAS 2025, and AWASR was right at the center of it.
Eng. Adnan Al Alawi, CEO of AWASR, has officially taken home the Outstanding Achievement of the Year award at the TAS Business Awards 2025. Since he was away on business, AWASR’s Chief Commercial Officer, Eugen Comendant, stepped up to accept the honour on his behalf.
The award was presented during TAS Conclave 2025 under the patronage of HE Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, and this year’s event was all about celebrating the people and ideas pushing Oman’s digital future forward.
Eng. Adnan said the recognition belongs to the entire AWASR family, from the team powering the network to the customers who trust the brand every day. He added that AWASR is all-in on driving innovation as the country moves confidently toward Oman Vision 2040.
Accepting the award on stage, CCO Eugen Comendant highlighted the CEO’s leadership as a major reason AWASR continues to stand out. From launching 10 Gbps internet to expanding next-gen digital services, AWASR has been setting the pace for the rest of the industry.
