ROP Announced Updated Fines for Violations of Supreme Committee Decisions

Penalties for violators of Supreme Committee rules were updated today

The ROP made some changes in the fines for violating the Supreme Committee decisions:

  • The fine for not following instructions on home and institutional quarantine is now OMR 300.
  • The penalty for commercial shops and private firms who do not follow Supreme Committee decisions is a OMR 3000 fine and a one-month closure.
  • The fine for refusal to conduct or re-conduct the COVID-19 test is OMR 300.
  • The fine for refusal to register for Tarassud for those who are required to do so is OMR 300.
