The Ministry of Health (MoH) issued general guidelines to help limit the spread of the seasonal influenza, saying that while it is relatively harmless, it is spreading fast.
The guidelines include:
- Wearing a mask
- Avoiding close contact with others
- Resting at home
- Maintain hygiene
- Following cough and sneeze etiquette
An expert from the ministry said that normal symptoms include fever, coughing and sneezing, and he added that no new COVID-19 mutations have been discovered in Oman yet.
