Not all heroes wear capes, and Al Mutasim Ahmed Al Shaqsi is the biggest proof of that.
In a year full of tragedies, a story with a heart-warming happy ending is much needed and we’ve got the best one for you. Al Mutasim Ahmed Al Shaqsi rescued his family members last week after an electric fire broke out at his house in Wilayat Bahla. He saved his younger brother, sister and disabled mother by pulling them out of the house.
His actions weren’t going to go unrecognized; the Brigadier (who is the director general of Civil defense) honored Al Mutasim for being a hero and stressed the importance of everyones awareness about hazards and how to react during accidents. We need more kids like you Al Mutasim!
