Pete Davidson did not hold back when talking about ex Ariana Grande on his Netflix special “Alive from New York”. He said he believes that he’s entitled to speak about his relationship with ex Ariana Grande because she talked about their relationship in a Vogue interview and called their engagement a distraction.
He went on to explain that his career would be over if he had done something like that; as in throw so much shade at an ex. He also added that there would normally be consequences for speaking so boldly about an ex, but Ariana Grande somehow got no backlash for it. She instead won 2018’s Billboard Woman of the Year and he got made fun off for how he looks; the appearance of his eyes to be specific.
He also added that guys usually seek support and comfort from friends after a breakup but she released “Thank U, Next” which was partially about him, and his friends were jamming to the song instead.
Lastly, he claims that one thing he can say about his relationship is that she made him “famous and a household name for no reason.”
