The iconic Whitney Houston is getting an official documentary about her life and rise to stardom.
There’s a new documentary about Whitney Houston coming out called “Whitney”.
This is the first film about Whitney Houston to be approved her estate. The official trailer is out.
The movie will be released in cinemas on July 6. The movie will include unseen footage, interviews, rare live performances and unreleased songs. The Directors aim is to have people walk out of the theater feeling positive about Whitney and her music.
The director Kevin Macdonald says: “I want to reveal a woman that even her most die-hard fans never knew; and a woman those new to her life and music will never forget.”
